IU keeps her promise from a year ago with a taxi driver

On June 3rd, the man who is now known as, ‘IU‘s taxi driver’ tweeted, “I went to IU’s concert yesterday. It was my first time going to a concert. I wanted to say thank you to IU but I was unable to see her as I received the ticket directly from a representative. I will be rooting for an even more fun and successful concert in the future. Thank you, IU“.

IU first came in contact with the taxi driver last year when he let the singer into his taxi while he was driving. At the time, without realizing that the passenger he carried was IU, he had requested her to sing the song, “Nagging“, a duet sung by IU and 2AM‘s Seul Ong. IU then promised to invite him and his family members to her first concert.

A year has passed since then, and IU has kept her promise to the taxi driver by inviting the him and his family to her first individual concert.

YG Entertainment responds to Ji Hyun Woo’s love confession to Yoo In Na

Rising actor Ji Hyun Woo recently made the headlines when he bravely confessed his love for fellow actress Yoo In Na at a fanmeeting for their drama, ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man‘. After keeping silent on the issue, Yoo In Na’s management agency, YG Entertainment, released a brief statement to the press.

“It looks like Ji Hyun Woo made a rather rash statement,” YG carefully announced. “After discussion, it was decided that it would be best to not release an official statement on our position.”

Netizens commented, “Ji Hyun Woo was indeed rash,” “From Yoon In Na’s stand point, it probably caught her off-guard,” and “They’re both celebrities so it wasn’t a good way to go about it.”

In related news, it has been recently announced that Ji Hyun Woo will be enlisting in the army in July.

After releasing a series of teaser images and a MV teaser, the ladies of f(x) have released their newest EP ‘Electric Shock‘.

The album was released for digital consumption on June 10th (KST) and contains six total tracks: “Electric Shock“, “Jet“, “Zig Zag“, “Beautiful Stranger“, “Love Hate“, and “Let’s Try“.

The offline physical album release will take place on June 13th.

Wonder Girls’ Yenny expresses her desire to be in a unit group with Yubin

Wonder Girls‘ Yenny shared her thoughts regarding potential unit group activities on the June 9th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘.

The girls held a brief interview with ‘Entertainment Relay’ and discussed their comeback title track “Like This” as well as information regarding unit group activities.

The reporter asked, “With unit groups such as TaeTiSeo and many others being the trend, do you guys have any plans on being active in a unit group?”

To this, the girls each selected the member they wish to be in a unit group with. Yenny selected Yubinand explained, “I want to be in one with Yubin unnie. She’s the most mature member,” causing the other members to explode in laughter.

She added, “Truthfully speaking, we’ve never attempted in doing a sexy concept so I’d like to try it once together with her.”

In addition, Yubin and Lim selected each other to form a ‘rap duo’ unit.
